Give carers a pat on the back this week

Moncrieff MP Steven Ciobo is giving Gold Coast carers a pat on the back this week (Oct 19-25) and encourages the community to join him in celebrating their labour of love.

He said Carers Week was a national event aimed at promoting the valuable role of carers in our community.

“Gold Coast carers do a tireless and thankless job and often go unrewarded for their hard work and dedication,” Mr Ciobo said.

“This week I urge people to spare a thought for the carers in our community and the role they play in nurturing and enriching the lives of those in their care.”
